Fills an obvious market need

Hand scanning cards to figure out which have some value is a tedious task that almost all MTG players are familiar with. Thankfully someone figured out how to build a relatively inexpensive automated solution. Once you've optimized your setup (phone settings, lighting, background color for scanning), this thing just hums along and scans cards in batches. You're seriously going to wonder where this has been all your life. Highly recommend.

Exactly what a hobbyist needs

The CS100 is awesome for cataloging cards. Super easy and has a straightforward design. It's really the only product priced for everyday hobbyists and not prohibitively expensive. The versatility is great – you can adjust the setup in unexpected ways, and it still works perfectly. A great feature is setting a stack of cards in and letting it run, so sorting doesn't need 100% of your attention. Perfect as a side or background task. Plus, the company is super communicative and active in the community.

Best thing since sliced bread!!!

The CS100 is a fantastic device that does exactly what it sets out to do. It has been a great aid in getting my thousands of cards sorted into a better system. There’s no telling how much time it’s saved because it’s saved so much. Sometime it even does its job a bit too well and exposes flaws or inefficiencies in TCG apps, but that has just resulted in me choosing a better app. TLDR, the device works flawlessly and is a great aid for larger collections.
