All Your Magic, Always in Reach
The CSC100 (Card Scanner Connect) is a fast, intelligent system that merges precision hardware with the TCG Archivist mobile app to give Magic: The Gathering collectors a clear, up-to-date view of their entire collection. It digitizes cards in seconds, letting you always know exactly what you own. Built-in value tracking and simple storage-location recording make it easy to find any card across boxes, binders, or bins. And with everything synced to the mobile app, all your Magic is always in reach.

This thing saves so much time from hand scanning it's silly.....
And I'm really excited for them to roll out more features on the app! They already have organization, deck building, card searching, trading (among friends), and price searching.
I'm told TCG Arch is planning on rolling out additional features to help out better decks together.
SO I have tried over and over and over again to try and make this work. My unit keeps doing double ejections and skipping cards. I have tried more than a dozen times, 10 cards, 30 cards, 50 cards you name it. It seems to skip, miss cards every single time except for 10 cards which is only a sometimes.
This is extremely aggravating for a couple of reasons. One, I have to manually try to figure out which card was skipped, was this a 30$ card or a 30 cent card? It would be so much easier to figure out if the listed cards in the scan was in the same order they were scanned, they are NOT!
It makes it so time consuming that I'm better off just doing manual card by card with delver or any other service but I paid $200 so this would be automatic and save me time.
It hasn't. So at this point, I'm going to ask to send back and either get refund or credit toward the Version 2 and hope that is a better system. Because this V1 isn't doing the job I need it to do.
Hey Dr Jason,
I am awfully sorry to hear that you are having issues with ejections and skipped cards. This is not acceptable behavior and we will make sure to refund you or ship another unit to you so you can scan cards without worrying about cards being missed. Please use the contact form to email me direct and I will make sure we get this resolved.

I purchased to for the accuracy, hoping the ~100 card hopper would be helpful. I had identified a few hundred cards in my inventory that ManaBox had identified as regular prints when they were showcase, and I didn’t catch it either when I scanned in. So I paused my sales, bought a CSC100, and got to work. 12,000 cards scanned, still some remain, plus another 12-14K I picked up on trade… and I’m a big fan!
The accuracy is great. There are a few bugs I’m hoping will get ironed out (if I set-lock a scan, sometimes it still pulls a version of the card from another set… but it’s the same card and easy to correct.). I’d say the accuracy rate has to be around 98-99%, as I truly only have to correct a couple cards in a scan session, 1-3K cards.
The developer team is extremely responsive on Discord, and either quick to offer a correct way of doing things or adding functions to their backlog for future updates. Either way, it’s addressed and some form of road-ahead is clear.
The scanner is MTG only, and you have to use their app, but once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly. I have 2 phones going at times and it’s pretty easy to manage.
I don’t quite trust it enough to outright scan 100s of cards without a set-lock, as it usually pulls the correct card but the set can get mid-identified and that is more frustrating to me, to constantly select a card and find the correct version. So I set sort before scanning. I’ve had great success with that.
This far exceeds the $200 price tags per scanner. I scan with confidence now.
Developer is really responsive on discord and was able to correct scan issues quickly !
I saw an ad for this device and instantly was intrigued. I did some research and decided to go for it. The price was my main hesitation as I was weary if it didn’t work properly or what not I am spending a high premium to find out. However, they are very responsive in discord and quick to fix any issues I’ve seen come up in the chats on there. I have not had any of the issues I have seen others have. But since getting it I have to say it has been worth every penny. I am able to get through sorting and scanning much faster now and the app is constantly being tweaked and updated by TCGArchivist. Batching, sorting on the app, and finding cards for builds and collection in one app has been great. If you are able to spend the money, I would highly recommend it. I am not willing to dock any points on the price point because after spending the money and using it now for about a month it is a great investment if you are serious about properly storing and archiving your collection.

To ensure the best possible scanning experience, please note the following limitations of the CSC100 system:
- Magic: The Gathering cards (English only) - The CSC100 is designed specifically for English-language Magic: The Gathering cards and does not support other trading card games or languages.
- Foil detection is not supported - Foil cards can be scanned normally, but the system does not automatically detect foil finishes. We recommend scanning foil cards in separate batches and using the Batch Summary screen to set all cards in the batch to foil.
- Unsleeved cards only - Cards must be scanned without sleeves for reliable operation and consistent accuracy.
We continue to refine both the hardware and the TCG Archivist app, and future enhancements will be guided by real-world use and customer feedback.
